A 20-year industry veteran, Brendan Shea began his career at Leo Burnett before establishing and leading several marketing departments throughout North America. Prior experience includes Walker Sands, where he built and grew the creative department; Strike Social, where he formed and oversaw the marketing department; Sprout Social, where he created the content department; and Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business, where he established and led the internal/external communications department. Brendan holds a bachelor’s in journalism from Mizzou and a master’s in marketing from Loyola, where he has served as an adjunct professor for the past decade, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in brand marketing and communications.

Prior to founding Sunup, Drew Hower established and led the branding and website division of Walker Sands, a B2B marketing firm. His creative leadership there included rebranding Hub Group, eMarketer/Insider Intelligence, NovoEd, Adlucent, ebbo, Autosoft and more. Drew was also responsible for the rebrand of Walker Sands itself, helping it become one of the fastest growing B2B marketing firms in North America. Before serving as an agency VP, Drew oversaw the creative department at Strike Social, named the No. 17 fastest growing company in the U.S. by Inc. magazine in 2017. He began his career at Blu Sky Creative, helping dozens of brands hone their identities while serving major health care clients. Drew holds a bachelor’s in design from Indiana University.
